Roasted Radish

Prep time: 5 mins  

Cooking time: 25-30mins  

Serves: 4

Ingredients 

  • 3 Bunches Red Radishes  
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Herbs  
  • Salt and Peper  
  • Olive Oil  
  • ½ Punnet Salad Leaves (Pea Tendrils, Rocket, Baby Spinach) 

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. 
  2. Remove the tops from the radishes and discard, wash them well.  
  3. Cut the bigger ones in half or into quarters and leave the little ones whole. 
  4. Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.  
  5. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with the Italian mix herbs.
  6. Toss well and place into the preheated oven. Roast them for 20-25mins until golden brown. 
  7. Remove from oven and serve on a bed of green salad. 

Chef's tips:

  • Great for roasts, BBQ meat or vegetables dishes.  
  • You can also roast them with Dutch carrots, broccolini, cauliflower etc or any European dressing style.
