Baked Brie with Dried Fruit and Honeycomb
Always a winner when you’re entertaining, this also makes a great gift to take to a party. Your host can choose whether to use it that night or pop it in the fridge to be baked in the next three days.
Ingredients:
- Wheel of brie
- Mixed dried fruit (lge fruit like pears)
- Honey
- Thyme
- Honeycomb (optional)
Steps:
- Place brie in a dish with a bit of room around the sides
- Score the top in a crisscross fashion
- Arrange dried fruit around the cheese, and a little on top
- Top with a sprig of thyme
- Drizzle brie and fruit with honey
- Bake for 10-12 minutes at 180
- Top with pieces of honeycomb
- Serve with bread, crackers or crudites for dipping
Chef’s Note:
If you’re giving this as a gift, add the honeycomb in a separate bag and attach to the dish. Write simple baking instructions on a tag:
- Cook for 10-12 minutes at 180
- Top with honeycomb & serve
