Typical of the Morris style, this Durif has rich and generous flavours, with a tannin structure and long persistence of flavour – and has garnered a cult following.
WINEMAKERS NOTES
Deep red in colour with purple overtones, there are lifted fresh aromas of blackberry and spice fruits, with subtle oak influence. The palate is rich yet supple, with concentrated berry flavours balanced by fruit and oak tannins. This combines to produce a full-bodied wine of layered fruit flavours and great persistence. This wine can be enjoyed now or can benefit from further cellaring until 2030.
