Chilli Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
- 3 Cups of Milk
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 1 Long Red Chilli (cut into thirds)
- 150g Dark Chocolate, chopped
- Whipped Cream to serve
- Ground Cinnamon to serve
Method:
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, cinnamon stock, and chilli. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes until it reaches a boiling point. Set aside for 10 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse.
- Using a fine strainer, strain the infused mixture into a clean saucepan, removing any solids. Heat the strained mixture over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until it becomes hot but not boiling.
- Reduce the heat to low, add the chocolate and whisk continuously until it melts, and the mixture becomes smooth.
- Pour the hot chocolate into glasses. Finish by adding a dollop of whipped cream on top and sprinkling ground cinnamon as a garnish.
