Many people have been in shock at the vegetable prices of the last month. That’s over now and as always, we like to be ahead of the curve. This week, as the market eases we are seeing all vegies fall in price. Anything with the slightest blemish is being rejected by QA teams all over the country and there is nearly no food service sector to move this oversized, under sized or slightly blemished product. It's cheap and it's good, so unless we get behind our Aussie farmers, they will have to forgo sending this to market as the other traditional outlet for this product - Paddy's Markets - is now closed down.
