Sweet, crisp Fuji apples are fantastic this week. Originally from Japan, they are the sweetest apple in rotation, making them a popular pick. Fuji's are a good source of dietary fibre, vitamin C and are high in antioxidants. They are picked a month or so later than most apples, meaning they are fresh and of great quality. They are an apple that move between having very good and not so good years; luckily, this year is one of the good ones!
HOW TO PICK
Choose firm fruit – the flesh of the apple should not easily give way to finger pressure.
HOW TO STORE
To keep your apples fresher for longer, store them in the fridge.
