Pick of the Week - Flavour Fall Plums

Bowl of flavour fall plums on a wooden bench with one cut in half sitting on top.

As we move on through Autumn, plums are in my opinion, the most underrated of all the stone fruits we sell. Lots of people don’t get to enjoy them as the early plums don’t quite eat as well and especially when they are presented, in most retailers, far too green. We are now near the end of the plum season and the last good plum of the year is now in-store; the Flavour Fall variety.  I recommend you leave them out of your fridge until they are ready to go, which is when they are soft. The Flavour Falls grown in Western Australia are by far the best eating of this variety, and of course, therefore, command a price premium. The crop is heavy this year and we are able to offer a fantastic specialEnjoy this last of the stone fruit season. They will be around for a few weeks!
