My pick this week is the nets of passionfruit we have at our shops. They are super sweet to munch on as a snack and combined with papaya or berries with a dash of yogurt make a fantastic summer breakfast. Passionfruit flush twice a year and this is what would normally happen in the fortnight before Christmas but with nearly every fruit running two to three weeks late, it has happened in January instead. It can’t last so grab a net or two this week, they will keep in the fridge for a fortnight or more. The price always skyrockets as this flush ends, which it will do very soon.

Pick fruit that are heavy for their size with smooth to slightly wrinkled skin.
HOW TO STORE
Store in a fruit bowl for up to 10 days or refrigerate for a longer period.
