New Season Gala apples are with us again. Any apples in any store that aren’t Galas are last years. They can still be good to eat, but will not have the fresh crisp taste of a new season piece of fruit. These Gala apples are not big, perfect for school lunches and are nearly half or at least two thirds the price compared to last week.
We now have an assortment of mangoes from all over Queensland and even moving down to NSW, so lots of varieties, sizes and prices around. My pick this week is the Palmer variety. They are very distinctive in colour and they are picked fresh, the Palmers will be here in Harris Farm stores for the next two weeks or so.
