Apricots are at their best this week. It does not matter if you buy a premium stack apricot or one from our imperfect range, you will have a very good outcome. Size affects the price, so a bigger cot is always dearer than a smaller one. The stack particularly and imperfect apricots but not the case sale fruit is all well priced this week, generally speaking about a third cheaper than last week. We are selling hundreds of cases in the stores each week and customers are preserving, making jam or just eating this fruit. By next week I expect the market to tighten up as demand increases for Christmas, so enjoy an apricot from Harris Farm this week. To enjoy the flavour, they have to be ripe. Don’t be too quick to put them in your fridge!
