I’ve got no words of advice or philosophical analogies that might guide you to greatness, but if you want to save some money then read on! Awesome grass fed yearling beef rump steak out of the Victorian Gippsland region will be a treat. The hot weather hasn’t pulled up yet, so make the most of the BBQ and salad weather. This will be very good eating, perfectly aged and ready to eat now, super soft tender juicy beef at its best. I would be doing this one to a medium rare with a bit of horseradish and hot mustard.
Just on that heat thing, it does tend to mean we eat smaller portions so this week have the smaller half boned and rolled legs of lamb. Perfect size for a family of four, and then a couple of lamb salad sandwiches the following day. If a roast is a bit to heavy for you this time of year then why not try our tender juicy pork loin steaks. Conveniently packed in trays of 3 or 4 steaks, they will be delicious.
For only the second time since we kicked this brand off, we are promoting the fantastic new Free Range Poultry from Hazeldene’s. The more I talk to people from the AFL heartland of Victoria where they are based the more I learn about this great family organisation. Their chicken is exceptionally popular with our southern friends, and is certainly gaining popularity up here as well now. If you haven’t tried it I urge you to do so.
To round this great week, we have a super deal on middle bacon rashers. It is the perfect time to top up the fridges for Easter!
