What is Organic?

The term ‘Organic’ can also cover animal products, for example, certified organic eggs are considered free range. Certified Organic? How do you tell what is Organic?
A product that labels itself as Organic must be backed by a certifying body. In Australia, there are six certification bodies, each with their own logo, that are recognised under the National Standard for Organic and Biodynamic Produce. These standards are: AUS-QUAL, ACOCOL, BDRI, NCO, OFC, SXC.
