Red seedless grapes are my pick this week. They’re the only grapes currently that truly are freshly picked meaning they’ll be crisper and keep longer than other varieties at this time of year. They’re a good source of fibre, vitamin C, potassium and energy, and contain more natural sugar than any other fruit. They’re delicious to snack on and perfect packed into the kids lunch boxes, in salads or desserts, or as part of a cheese platter.
HOW TO PICK
Choose grapes that are plump, full-coloured and firmly attached to their stems.
HOW TO STORE
Store unwashed grapes in an airtight container or in a sealed plastic bag in the fridge. For longer lasting grapes, wash only just before serving.
