Since April, 38 Volunteers who make up the Viral Kindness initiative have been working tirelessly to service some of Sydney’s most vulnerable communities through weekly drop offs of 1,000 bags of fruit & veg, with July 1st marking 10,000 bags donated! Viral Kindness works closely with outreach organizations such as Weave, Innari, Kinchela Boys, Wayside Chapel, Baptist Care and The Settlement – to name a few! – who have been experiencing an uplift in the need for donations, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are so grateful to have partnered with an organization who stands for the Greater Goodness, and who have been able to instill a sense of community through these trying times.
These fresh fruit & veg donations have not only provided a sense of nourishment for many, but have allowed those in our community who are often looked over to feel a sense of self worth for the first time in a long while. To keep up with the amazing work of Viral Kindness, click here.
