We are proud to introduce Bodalla’s new flavoured milk range!
Bodalla is a family dairy on the South Coast of NSW.
A single herd of cows are milked at 5am, then Bodalla just adds chocolate or real strawberries, fresh brewed single origin coffee or old-fashioned butterscotch sauce at 10am before it is bottled on the farm and the truck leaves to take it to Harris Farm the very same day by lunch time.
Bodalla makes all their sauces by hand on the stove. The old fashioned way, with real ingredients and made simply. This means:
- No artificial sweeteners
- No preservatives
- No thickeners
- No stabilisers
- No numbers
Bodalla calls their milk ‘the living milk’. Straight from the cow, it is gently pasteurised. They pasteurise at the lowest temperature to keep the milk ‘alive’ and fresh.
This is quite the opposite of the more common method of pasteurisation – ‘high temperature short time’ pasteurisation which gives the milk a slightly longer shelf life, but destroys beneficial enzymes and bacteria and denatures protein.
Slow and low pasteurization means slowly and gently pasteurizing the milk at a very low temperature to keep it alive and fresh. So fresh it has a short shelf life – it’s living, it’s still alive.
It’s just like milk used to be – with the cream coming to the top (it is not homogenised!).
There are four exciting new flavours: Strawberry, Butterscotch, Chocolate and Coffee, which come in a 375ml size and a 1L size.
