Moorpark Tassie Apricots only grace our shelves 3-4 weeks of the year and are some of the finest apricots you'll taste. These spotty skinned beauties are sweeter than the rest and pack some true flavour - one of a kind!
Apricots have lots of a substance called carotenes, some of which our body can turn into vitamin A. Vitamin A helps for better eye sight. The deeper the colour the more beta carotene they have. They are also a good source of dietary fibre and vitamin C. They taste sweet because they contain three sugars - sucrose, glucose and fructose, which gives you the energy boost you need.
Try them:
- in jam
- in roasts
- in salads
- dried or as they are
