“Still plenty of fantastic winter veg this week. The best bargain is Honey Snap peas at a very, very low price. Great for stir fries, your green veg or just raw as a snack.
Fennel has started to come back in price; it’s the classic Autumn veg, great roasted or in salads.
Caulies are very reasonable and superb quality, and we have another lot of the 1kg bags of cocktail potatoes, so plenty to choose from"

In Fruit
Our best value line this week is premium Pink Lady apples. Large or small, both are the same low price. Strawberries and blueberries are both super value.
Nets of passionfruit are full of fruit and really good eating. Some really interesting varieties of mandarins from inexpensive to quite expensive - There’s a mando to fit every budget.”

“My pick this week is Pink Lady apples. This apple is now by far the most popular apple in Australia. They grow right across the country and are the last apple to be picked each season and so of course are the freshest apple available.
We have a fantastic offer this week where the larger and the smaller fruit are exactly the same price. So, everything from Back to School lunchbox size to large fruit will be all one price at HFM this week.”
