Choice Cuts - 01.09.15

Lamb this week is a super product, and with the nights getting warmer again, they should prove popular with those keen to blow the cobwebs out of the BBQ. The butterflied leg of lambs are a brilliant cut done over a flame, fat side down on a medium heat to render the fat a touch, then turned down to low heat to just slowly cook away. I am a fan of cooking these just with a sprinkle of salt, then adding flavour afterwards, a drizzle of olive oil with garlic and freshly squeezed lemon juice goes very well.

Another fantastic offer this week will be the fresh chicken breast fillet along with Boned & Rolled Pork Legs which represent serious value at the money for boneless protein.

Across the pre-packed deli range this week, we have the Gammon Roasting Ham which is still something I am not seeing anywhere else and I tell you, once you try it, you will keep coming back for more. Lastly, we have a 1kg middle bacon at a really good price too.
