We have some exciting news to share. Today, we opened our doors at our incredible new flagship store in Bondi Junction Westfield. With the success of the Drummoyne store opening in November last year, many of the impressive innovations will carry through to the Westfield store, providing the traditional market-style experiences that our customers have fallen in love with.
The space is shared with Salt Meats Cheese and Bourke Street Bakery’s The Bread & Butter Project and showcases new concept features such as the ‘milk bar’ which gives customers more choice; the traditional favourites stay on shelves, plus a new experience with a single herd milk on tap. Each dairy farm featured on tap receives an additional 30 per cent return above regular milk gate prices per litre. Available this month will be Paul and Vicki Timbs’ herd, a mixture of Holstein, Ayrshire and Jersey located in the fine coastal pastures of Berry.
The Bread and Butter Project, created by the founders of Bourke Street Bakery, work with us in this new store to erect a brand new Breadfall model. The Project is Australia’s first social enterprise bakery whereby 100 per cent of profit goes toward improving the lives of those less privileged in our community through training and social support programs. They will be baking fresh bread within the store twice every day, as well as our own selection of fine breads.
Our Westfield Bondi Junction store is the sixth Harris Farm store in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and will ensure locals have a convenient option to buy the best quality fruit, vegetables, grocery items and artisan goods in conjunction with the existing Bondi Beach, Eastgate Bondi Junction, Potts Point, Randwick and Edgecliff stores.
We can’t wait to get to know the lovely people around Westfield so come down and say g’day... you’re going to love it!
We are located on Level 1 (opposite Coles).
